Quiz Bowl

Every year, three students from each grade level 5th -8th are chosen to compete in the Walker County Quiz Bowl. The 5th and 6th grade students are on one team and the 7th and 8th grade students are on another team. This years Quiz Bowl was held and Bankhead Middle School. For two days, the teams compete in 25 question rounds with the teams from other schools. At the end of the two days, wins and losses are tallied and first, second, and third place teams are chosen. 

The students on each team are as follows:

5th and 6th grade sponsored by Mrs. Waid: Lauren Sims, Andrew Levrett, Bryleigh Thompson, Weston Burton, Xavier Frazee, Brady Jones 

7th and 8th grade sponsored by Mrs. Estille: Elijah Parnell, Blaine Posey, Dray Willingham, Gage Blanton, Lillie Gann, and Konnor Kitchens
