Mrs. Jessica Thompson

My name is Jessica Thompson, and I serve as the Assistant Principal at Oakman Middle School.  I am an Oakman girl through and through!  I attended Oakman Elementary from K to 6th grade, and I am a 1996 graduate of Oakman High School!  I am dedicated to making sure that my students (all 700ish) receive the quality education that I feel I received from both Oakman schools.  I began my career in 2004 as a Townley Tiger, but I always hoped and prayed that I would make it back home to Oakman.  In 2007, my prayers were answered, and I returned to my Alma Mater.  I taught second grade at Townley for three years, fifth grade for six years, and sixth grade for one year.  I served as Oakman Middle School's Reading Specialist for eight years before accepting the position of Assistant Principal. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Daniel.  We have two children, Sawyer and Bryleigh.  They keep me pretty busy!  Bryleigh is involved in multiple sports and activities, and Sawyer is an avid outdoorsman.
